VidCon US is less than 1 week away – and we couldn’t be more EXCITED! The #BBTVFam will be back in full force. We had a chance to chat with Infinite List’s Cylus before the big event to chat videos, work ethic, and of course, VidCon!
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Caylus, I was born in Washington and have lived there all my life. I love making videos, snowboarding, skateboarding, basically anything with boarding in it. I grew up with 2 older brothers. I always loved making videos ever since I was about 13.
What type of content do you make?
The content I make is mostly commentary over certain pictures or videos on the internet. Also some skits and vlogs here and there.
How long have you been a YouTuber?
I have been making YouTube videos for 6+ years now but ever since September of 2016, I started making videos everyday.
What drove you to start making videos? Were you always planning to be in the entertainment industry?
I used to watch hundreds of youtubers in the past as a kid. I realized that this would be super cool if I could actually be a YouTuber. I never actually thought I could be a YouTuber. I honestly don’t know what I would be doing if I wasn’t.
Why did you choose YouTube as a platform to create?
I chose YouTube because I had always watched YouTube growing up. I never watched TV or anything else. So posting on YouTube was all I knew.
What do you want people to know about becoming a YouTuber?
I want them to know that anyone can do it. It does come with A LOT of work and dedication. I never thought I would be in the position I am today, but I put in so many hours into this that it worked out.
Any advice for all the young creators out there?
My advice is to never give up. As I said before, I have been uploading to YouTube for a solid 6 years now. Even if I wasn’t a YouTuber, I would still be uploading. I still consider this my hobby. Make sure you enjoy the content you are posting.

I AM SO STOKED. This will be one of my first major events and I am super excited to see everyone!
