Playlist Live 2018 is only 9 days away, and we couldn’t be more excited to talk with the incredible, astounding … MOST AMAZING TOP 10! The trio from Toronto compile the internets best lists from shocking, crazy, & educational topics and everything in between.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Danny: I am just a guy from the middle of England who now lives in Toronto, Canada. I grew up watching YouTube and now am fortunate enough to call it my job.

Rebecca: I also moved from the UK to Toronto and it was the best decision of my life. I started working with Most Amazing Top 10 almost immediately and I have never looked back (although I have flown back!)

Landon: Hi I am Landon Dowlatsingh and I consider myself as an OG of YouTube. I have been on the platform for around 8 years now. I dropped out of college with a full scholarship for Architecture to pursue my dream as a content creator. I own and run multiple YouTube channels that combine to over 6.3 million subscribers and 2.4 billion views.

2. What type of content do you make?

Danny: We make Top 10 videos covering all kinds of topics. I’m pretty sure we’ve touched on everything. Some days I’m talking about the dumbest tweets on the internet, the next I’m talking about scary urban legends from around the world!

Rebecca: My favorite type of Top 10 videos is either one that involves food or something creepy found in a basement. I also love anything to do with science as I feel like I am learning as much as our viewers.

Landon: The biggest channel I have I create interesting Top 10 list video. Video range from Top 10 Insane Uber stories to Top 10 Dumbest Tweets.

3. How long have you been a YouTuber?

Danny: Well, I briefly had an animation channel when I was 14 years old! I didn’t make anything else on YouTube until I got the job here at Most Amazing Top 10 about 3 years ago!

Rebecca: The first real experience I had with YouTube was when I walked through the studio doors at Most Amazing Top 10 in 2015 and I haven’t looked back since.

Landon: I have been a Youtuber for around 8 years now, and it all started with comedy on my Landon Production channel. I like to create a few YouTube channels a year.

4.What drove you to start making videos?

Landon: I first started making YouTube videos just from boredom in my bedroom. When I first created content, I was never paid for it. I just want to try and entertain as many people as possible and try to inspire people one video at a time. I’ve always been creative which is why I went into Architecture. I was able to design houses and restaurants. YouTube really opened up my world teaching me there were no limits to how creative I can be.

5. Why did you choose YouTube as a platform to create?

Danny: YouTube has been pretty much on top since its inception. I think what kept me on the site in the early days was the people on it. YouTube did a great job of capitalizing on that and I think their partnership with Google really solidified them as a global company that’s here to stay!

Rebecca: I like the accessibility of YouTube. You don’t need a paid subscription or even a television, but you can still watch great content wherever you are on your own schedule.

Landon: YouTube I think is the greatest platform that can connect people, and this platform allows me to really inspire others do just do better in life. I’ve lived a very difficult life being homeless and living in foster. So, I thought well there have to be other people who have struggled how I struggled. So, I decided to put out funny and interesting content to try and distract them from when life gets hard.

6. Where do you see MostAmazingTop10 going in the next 5 years?

Danny: More of the same and hopefully we’ll be able to expand into more of a brand and stand out from the many other list channels on YouTube.

Rebecca: I agree with Danny, hopefully, our personalities will set us apart and viewers will want to keep on coming back to learn from us. Also, I am pretty pumped for Dumbest Tweets Part 902!

Landon: YouTube is a very hard industry to be in, although from the outside it might look easy. I believe all Youtubers have one thing in common and that’s we are workaholics. We don’t seem to know when to stop working which is the key reason for success on YouTube. I do believe though YouTube can give anyone the opportunity to make it big.  YouTube can be a career move for anyone who really has the passion for it and can learn what it takes to become a Youtuber.

7. What do you want people to know about becoming a YouTuber? Any advice for young fans who turn to YouTube for inspiration?

Danny: It’s very tempting to look at what’s on the trending page and think you need to copy that to be successful. That may be true in the short term – copying what already works is a safe way to grow your channel. However, it presents two problems. Firstly, if you have any creative integrity, it will burn you out. You will wake up one day without the drive to continue. Secondly, your viewers aren’t idiots. If you don’t believe in what you are making and it’s not truly coming from your heart – it can only last so long. The channels that have lasted for over a decade on YouTube are the ones who slowly build a solid relationship with their audience and never compromise on their passion – no matter what’s on the trending page. Essentially, the golden rule is to make something you would want to watch – you can’t go wrong with that!

8. Any advice for all the young creators out there?

Landon: When it comes to young creators I think the best thing to do is to always have fun. If you’re not enjoying your content it becomes a job. I believe YouTube is a life choice and not a job. Its given me many opportunities. In fact, YouTube has changed my life. I think for anyone starting off you have to just keep grinding it out day and night.
